Easter at St Mary's
Easter is at the heart of our faith and we are marking Holy Week and Easter with some extra services and events. Scroll down for more information.
Every Morning of Holy Week (14th - 19th April)

Morning prayer at 8.30am. A simple, said service and a wonderful way to start the day. Do join us whether it's something that's new to you or not.
Wednesday of Holy Week (16th April)

Compline (a quiet, contemplative night-time service), 7pm.
All Age Good Friday Adventure: a walk from Llangrove to Welsh Newton

An all-age walk from Llangrove to Welsh Newton from 10.30 to 3pm, with a variety of activities (some involving chocolate!) telling the Easter story as we go. There'll be stops along the way, including at houses where you can use the loo, and you can join us either for part or all of it.
At the end there's a short family service at Welsh Newton Church (optional!) which you're very welcome to join, followed by hot cross buns!
Please bring a picnic lunch and dress for mixed weather and mud!
Suitable for children, but there is quite a lot of walking and some fairly steep hills.
NO NEED TO BOOK - MEET AT LLANGROVE VILLAGE HALL AT 10.30am.
Good Friday family service (18th April)

A family service, suitable for all ages, to mark the end of the Good Friday Adventure - 3pm, followed by hot cross buns, tea and coffee.
Easter Sunday (20th April)

Family communion, 9.30am, led by Revd Mark Melluish, followed by breakfast, Easter goodies and an Easter egg hunt. How many will you be able to find?
