We believe we have a responsibility to look after the environment, as part of God's creation. We are looking at ways of making our church greener, from using reusable cups and plates for our refreshments to making our churchyard plastic-free and more eco-friendly.

On the third Sunday of every month, weather permitting, we meet outside for outdoor church at 9.15 (after our usual 8.30 Christian meditation which is indoors). We gather round the firepit and have breakfast together (with hot chocolate and marshmallows in addition to the usual tea, coffee and croissants), and our Bible study typically focuses on some aspect of the natural world. We have children's activities on a nature theme - one week the children made gratitude bracelets from nuts and conkers, considering what we can thank God for, and another week, in Advent, they made sheep-themed cakes as we learned about the shepherds in the Bible and the nativity story.

If the weather isn't suitable, we stay indoors and adapt our activities! If you'd like to join us for this, just turn up, either at 8.30 to join the meditation or at 9.15 as we head outside.
